The Eastern Suburbs Rugby League Club and the Glebe Rugby League Football Club are looking to renew their licence through to 2027 to use the oval for training and match days. APPROVAL OF PROPOSED LEASES

Crown Lands have approved the renewal of the lease for the Greyhound Owners, Breeders and Trainers Association (GBOTA) through to the end of 2025.

The NSW Government have extended the term of Mr Simon Spicer as Administrator for Wentworth Park Sporting Complex Land Manager until 10th October 2024.

Mr Simon Spicer’s  appointment as the Administrator of Wentworth Park Sporting Complex Land Manager has been extended to 10th October 2023.

Mr Simon Spicer has been appointed as the Administrator of Wentworth Park Sporting Complex Land Manager commencing 11th October 2021.

 

The Management and staff would like to welcome him and look forward to working with him into the future.

They would also like to express their sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Mr Rod Gilmour for his work over the past five years.


PROPOSED LEASE APPROVED

The leasing of office space to Equilibrium Air-Conditioning and Climatech has been approved.

NOTIFICATION OF PROPOSED LEASE

The leasing of office space to Equilibrium Air-Conditioning and Climatech is proposed.  This lease will continue through to 14th March 2023.  Four spaces in the public car park will be allocated to the company.

LEASE APPROVAL

The extension for the leasing of office space to GBOTA was approved. There were no negative responses received from community or other stakeholders.

POP-UP SCHOOL SITE

Welcome to the Teachers, Children and Staff of Fort St Public School.

We hope you enjoy your temporary home while yours is being renovated.

POP-UP SCHOOL SITE

The renovations have been completed at Ultimo Public School and Staff and Students have moved out of their temporary accommodation at the Pop-Up School in Wentworth Park.

However the Department of Education have extended the arrangement so another primary school in the area can use the facilities while their current site gets a facelift.  We look forward to meeting the children of Fort St Public sometime soon.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

Wentworth Park Sporting Complex is still accessible however we ask that anyone entering the grounds follows the NSW Government Guidelines to restrict the spread of COVID-19.

This includes not entering the premises if you have travelled overseas recently or been in contact with someone who has travelled overseas tested positive for COV-19 or been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, feel unwell or have any flu-like symptoms.

You must practise social distancing and follow good hygiene practises including not touching your face, regularly washing your hands and coughing/sneezing into your elbow.

2017-2018 ANNUAL REPORT RELEASED

The 2017-2018 Annual Report for Wentworth Park Sporting Complex has been released.

ADMINISTRATOR TENURE EXTENDED

Rod Gilmour’s appointment as Administrator has been extended for a further twelve months by the Minister.

CROWN LANDS ACT 2016

The Crown Lands Act 2016 implemented reforms identified through the comprehensive review of Crown land management and follows over four years of engagement with the community on the future of Crown land.

This act was implemented on 1st July 2018.

As part of the changes we went from being Wentworth Park Sporting Complex Trust to Wentworth Park Sporting Complex Land Manager.

ULTIMO PUBLIC SCHOOL TEMPORARY SITE OPENS

Ultimo Public School opened it’s doors for the 2018 school year.  Building the temporary school on a combination of City of Sydney Council and Wentworth Park Sporting Complex took a couple of years of planning and organising.

The school will continue to operate at this site until the renovations have been completed at the original site.

The Annual Report for 2018-19 is now available.
